Originally constructed in 1893, it has a striking Beaux Arts façade of blind balustrades and polished granite columns by architects De Lemos & Cordes, who also designed Macy’s Herald Square.
The building now consists of 24 rental apartments, predominantly bright and airy loft-style studios with extra high ceilings and abundant storage space. Many of the units have been recently upgraded with new stainless steel appliances.
